Devolver Digital has announced Starseeker: Astroneer Expeditions, the next game from the makers of the popular sci-fi survival title, Astroneer.

Coming to PS5 in 2026, the follow-up focuses on "discovery, cooperative expeditions, and camaraderie". You can watch the teaser trailer above.

It looks like the game will allow for many players working together. The official blurb describes "planet-wide objectives" across various systems, suggesting overarching goals for an entire crew to work towards.

"Players will have an advanced set of tools at their disposal to tackle expeditions while they face off with the unknown perils of space — fascinating creatures, hazardous flora, and mysterious forces that await them," the publisher says.

Starseeker is also the name of the space station you'll meet on, and will be an ever-evolving location where you can plan expeditions and upgrade your abilities.

Developer System Era stresses that Starseeker is not a sequel to Astroneer, and the first game will still be receiving support.
